A role out of a series of services in 10 rural communities will constitute the Project’s end product whereby merchants working in partnership with JNBS, will facilitate through the usage of Point of Sale terminals and General Packet Radio Services (GPRS), the following services:
- Cash payouts to JNMS clients/ beneficiaries;
- Debit card services utilising all multi link cards
- Collection of loan repayments in specific rural communities for JNSBL Loan clients
Wider benefits will also include the following:
- Provision of options where cash less transactions can be conducted;
- Provision of additional financial services at JNBS merchants/ businesses which will increase foot traffic / patrons into businesses thereby boosting business activity;
- Education of a cadre of rural residents to the new financial services of JNBS;
- Reduction of transaction cost of financial services previously only accessible over considerable distances at financial centres;
- Provision of credit to rural residents.

In the final analysis the Project will facilitate easier access to vital financial services in rural communities, working in concert with merchants of these communities. It also will deliver on increased distribution of financial services to rural populations while providing a catalyst to wider development potential and achieving a wider civic good.
