JUSTICE FOR ALL

Sunday, 5 February, 2012

With support from JN Foundation and other partners, Jamaicans for Justice (JFJ) has produced a 13 episode series entitled “Justice For All” - now being shown on TVJ.

The goal of this thought-provoking and innovative project is to educate all Jamaicans about various rights under the law and their importance as well as systems available for redress of breaches of rights. The show offers practical tips and advice to viewers about their specific rights and responsibilities under the law, such as what to do when arrested or how to protect children’s rights, what to do about domestic abuse, or what is the entitlement to legal aid and how to access it. By empowering viewers with knowledge of their rights, we hope to encourage the active participation of Jamaicans in civic governance and improve accountability and transparency at all levels of society.
